Tamu is the founder of People Solutions Group LLC, an Aon Hewitt Business Partner. She has worked on various types of strategic projects including compensation strategy, performance management, succession planning, career pathing, training, work force strategy, and competency development. Tamu has over 18 years of work experience, including 14 years of experience focusing in compensation and performance management.

 

Tamu’s experience includes broad based employee and executive compensation programs covering base salary and incentive pay; survey design and analysis; organizational reviews; salary administration; web-based tool implementation and compensation communication programs. She has worked with a variety of public and private clients in the following industries: software, finance, healthcare, high tech, transportation, nonprofit and education.

 

Prior to starting People Solutions Group, Tamu was a Compensation Manager for a software company. She was also a Senior Consultant with Mercer Human Resource Consulting and Ernst & Young. Tamu also held various management positions with NationsBank (now Bank of America).

 

Tamu earned a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina and a Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Member of the Atlanta Area Compensation Association (AACA), WorldatWork and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She has earned the following certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
